[Technical Inquiry] Adam6251/6256 disconnection issue and modbus polling rate

Adam6251/6256 disconnection issue and modbus polling rate

We have a system with 5 Adam devices (3 of 6251, 2 of 6256) in daisy-chain, we use Modbus protocol to communicate with them.(PC->Ethernet switch->5 Adam in daisy chain->another ethernet device attached to the last Adam ethernet port)
We use a dedicated thread for each device.
Individual polling rate is 50ms, but when output ports state shall be changed it can be faster (with set state - read state sent as fast as possible).

The problem: at random times one of the devices (not always the same) disconnects and does not answer to ping anymore, unless we perform a full power cycle.

Is this a known issue?

Is there a minimum polling rate that shall be respected when sending Modbus-over_TCP queries?
